Rahul Juneja

Rahul Juneja (b.1999) is a multiform artist based between Karnal and New Delhi in India. He completed his BFA (Painting) from College of Art, New Delhi and MFA from Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence. Rahul is interested in loosening images, devising myths, and intercepting speculative shadowlands that lurk at the contour of our realities. He is a resident at Foreign Objekt (2024) and was the recipient of Khoj Peers Share (Triangle Network) in 2023. 

His work has been shown in “Matrix of the Not-Yet” at  Underground Art and Design, New York, “Critical Zones” at Goethe Institut, New Delhi, ‘TEXTXET’, at the Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) New Delhi, “States of Disarray: Practice as Restitution”, at Kochi Muziris Biennale, India Art Fair, “All That Is Solid Melts into Air” at Anant Art Gallery, “Synchronicities” at Art.H9 Gallery Hong Kong, and site-specific projects with Kala Chaupal and Think Culture Foundation. Rahul has  done lecture performances of his project “Meeting Kalki” at FICA and Studio A68, and open studios with Porous Altas. He has  also given lectures and artist presentations at College of Art, New Delhi, and Jindal Global University, Sonipat. 

Rahul’s works and writings have been published by Underground Art and Design, Alternative South Asian Photography (ASAP) and Foreign Objekt.
