zeropowercut
zeropowercut, also known as Piyush Kashyap, makes art to talk about how caste is coded in the real. Their work involves documentary and aural images, sayings, drawings, image-sculptures, objects, and scenes. Their practice is an attempt to realise the transformational bahujan proposition of becoming other. He is a self taught artist and independent researcher with prior training in audio-video production and eight years of experience working as a film technician prior to starting their anti-caste arts practice. As an artist, zeropowercut makes individual as well as collaborative work, often turning their studio and resources into sites of research and development for collective Dalit-Bahujan discourse. zeropowercut is based in old city of Patna-Saheb, Bihar, India
